The YEAR OF BLACK AMERICAN MUSIC (YOBAM) stands at the nexus of art, culture and community. Celebrating 100 Years of Black American Music. This will be a rebirth, a reclamation of the art form and a revival of black arts and
community appreciation. This initiative, facilitated along with our membership-based trade association, will invite participation from all contributors, both past and present recording artists, scholars, producers, executives, publishers, songwriters, and individuals who advance the sound and business of Black American Music
(Blues, Jazz, Rock & Roll,
Rhythm & Blues, Hip-Hop, Gospel, House, Soul, Rap, Funk, New Jack Swing, Urban, AfroPunk and so many more).
